I’m Brent, I’ve been building websites for small businesses since 2008.

Over 18 years I have designed, built and launched sites for many small businesses offering a straightforward approach that’s never really changed to help small UK businesses get a professional website without paying agency prices for it.

Before going out on my own, I spent years in IT departments at large organisations including Rolls-Royce, Toyota, and Allied Breweries, where careful testing and no shortcuts were the norm. I’ve carried that discipline into a modern web design practice that keeps pace with current design trends, speed, and security, so you get big-company reliability without the big-company overhead.

SME Web Designs Ltd is my incorporated limited company, a proper registered business, just a deliberately lean one. No account managers, no junior staff passing your project down the chain. When you work with me, you work with me.

  • I’m based in Derby and work remotely with small businesses across the UK, no in-person meetings, everything handled by email or contact form. I aim to respond within one working day.
